I’m not a private equity fund or corporate investment group. I’m a New Zealand born entrepreneur looking to acquire and grow one great business for the long term—investing my time, experience, energy and capital into the right opportunity.

Who I Am

I’m a Wellington-based entrepreneur who has spent the last decade building and growing businesses.

I founded Kenepuru Homes, which delivered more than 90 homes and generated over $65 million in revenue between 2021 and 2025. Alongside this, I established Tu Kaha Construction, a building labor company, and True Architecture.

At the peak of operations, I led three businesses, three general managers, more than 20 employees, 6 overseas staff, and over 60 contractors.

I value businesses with good people and clear opportunities for future growth. My goal is not to make quick changes or flip businesses. I’m looking to become a hands-on owner who will build on what already works and support the next stage of growth.

  • Preferred locations: Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton and Tauranga

  • Service businesses with recurring revenue or strong repeat-customer relationships

  • FMCG manufacturing businesses with stable consumer demand

I am open to opportunities outside these sectors and locations where there is a strong business, good reputation, and clear growth potential.

I am not seeking opportunities in residential construction or hospitality.

Why I’m Looking to Buy

While I’ve enjoyed building businesses in the construction industry, what I enjoy most is building organisations, developing people, and creating systems that help businesses grow.

I’m now looking for an opportunity outside residential construction where I can apply those same skills, work alongside an established team, and help continue the legacy created by the founder.
